Although pet owners love to celebrate their pet’s birthdays, the animals themselves have no idea what a birthday even is.

So while it’s fantastic you love your animals enough to celebrate their birthdays – don’t forget there are other animals out there that could use your support and love too.

This idea lead to print/online ads featuring pets that are confused as they’re being lavished with birthday celebrations.

The ads were housed on a site that includes info about the NSSPCA, a link to donate, and an invitation to share specific executions (ex: your pet’s horoscope) or the entire site with friends and followers.

Print executions were also used for a community based poster campaign and distributed by volunteers at the various NSSPCA chapters across Nova Scotia. Along with a small campaign of posters at bus stops and bus interior ads.
